Don't Bin it....Bargain Board it !
West Midlands Bargain Board is a free to use message board service hosted on Yahoo Groups. It's aim is to offer the people of the West Midlands a place where they can dispose of their unwanted items completely free of charge, a sort of Freebay idea if you like.
By using this free service we hope to help to reduce landfill in the West midlands by reducing the amount of unwanted items we send to the local tip each day. Before you decide to throw away that unwanted chair, or discard that old TV why not stick it on the Bargain Board for free and see if you can sell it swap it or simply let someone else have it. It beats the credit crunch and helps the environment too.
The group was set up in 2006 and boasts over 800 members and a very active board with over 300 posts per month.
The concept is simple, if you have any items that you no longer want you post them on the message board either for sale, swap or free of charge and this is then emailed direct to the inbox of every member giving you a captive audience of over 800 members.
